Instagram’s “Black-Owned” Designation and Your Podcast
Instagram allows US businesses to mark themselves as Black-Owned.
Yelp has something similar for LGBTQ-owned businesses.
Forget Instagram and Yelp for a second ... What they’re doing here will work for any type of business and on any platform because demographics, whether they have to do with race, gender, age, or anything else are a quick way for people to feel a sense of camaraderie and being understood.
Will doing this piss somebody off? Yes. Some people are mad I'm even mentioning this here.
